SEPTEMBER - 2012

PROGRESS

Fitted the rear seat into place and installed all the canvas seat pads. The canvas was from John and Mary, Worthing and fits just right, with all the necessary self tapers and screws. The windscreen frame was offered into position but did not quite fit, with the pivot points to far apart and the measurement from the top of the frame to the rear panel being over the required length. So, using a piece of scaffold tube, I gently bent the two arms inward and downwards to achieve the desired 66.5 inch gap. Also cleaned up and painted the reflectors and the suppression box and pipe that fits to the side of the body, by the passenger seat.
