PROGRESS

Unfortunately, due to a bad back, I have had little time for Jeeping this month. I am borrowing a friend's Jeep for our club's Normandy tour this June and have been getting it ready for the trip.

As can be seen, the body parts arrived from Jeeparts, via post and car delivery courtesy of Ray & Tricia.  A front floor pan (Philippine) and two side cowls ( 1 x Philippine and 1 x French ). Also seen are pictures of the original body as shot blasted and primed. The underneath looks more like lacework than metal. Hopefully, my welder (Dave 2) will work his magic and restore the body to as good as can be. I have decided to repair and keep as much of the original tub as possible. Costs wise, it may not end up any different than buying a complete new one, but it's the way I want to go.
