JULY - 2011
Mainly work on the body for this month. Dave (2) has started work trying to salvage the best bits of the old body and welding in the new front floor panel and cowls. As you can see, he has cut the body in half enabling him to get better access. The rear of the body on closer inspection required as much work as the front. Again the floor was badly rusted, so I took the opportunity to buy a rear floor panel when we went to the War and Peace show. Diane had a cramped drive home with the panel in the back of the car for company. The front seats have been taken to Dave (1) to be worked on. The driver’s seat requires a new base welding on and the passenger seat requires two new hinges to be made. More news of these next month.
